We know that it takes each and every one of us to create a strong community, and that every gift, big or small, lights the way for our neighbors in need.

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Season of Giving Challenge! Thousands of First Tech employees, members and friends in the community voted to support organizations who are making a difference for children and families in need, and volunteered thousands of hours to give back to those who need us most. Together, we provided $200,000 to inspire learning, fuel research and spark innovation for our next generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators.

Page Ahead, Washington
Page Ahead is a leading provider of literacy support for children and families, and their programs ensure that every child has a strong foundation to launch from. First Tech’s $18,500 donation will fund the purchase of 4,000 new books that will shape and propel the learning and achievement of more than 400 children across Washington.

SMART (Start Making a Reader Today), Oregon
The $24,500 donation to SMART will fund libraries for more than 400 children across Oregon. SMART works to get books into the hands of children at pivotal points in their academic development; inspiring a love of reading and providing the vital one on one support and resources they need to meet literacy and learning benchmarks.

UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital - Oakland, California
Our $16,000 donation to UCSF Benioff will support and sustain the Child Life program where highly-trained specialists provide hospitalized children with opportunities to engage in therapeutic play, education, and self-expression as they receive life-saving care.
